Today i will talk about clutter.
In our lives, whether we realise it or not, we are full of clutter. Clutter is simply rubbish [things of no value] that takes up space and is no benefit to yourself. This can be in the form of both physical and psychological clutter.
Let's look at it this way. A Person is like an empty glass. Life, in all its awesomeness is pour into your life, like water... if you have too much clutter, like small stones and pebbles, they take up space in your glass, preventing yourself from getting the most out of life.
If you have too much clutter in your life, you can't be filled with awesomeness since all the space around you has been filled with rubbish.
It is important to clear out the clutter in your life before you can fill it with awesomeness. Get rid of the clothes that you no longer use and just takes up space, or crockery that just sits there, throw out things in your life that is no longer of any use. If you bought a new rice cooker, throw the old one out, dun keep it around just 'cos it still works. Some things are detrimental - old photos can either inspire, or hold you captive to your past, judge them, and then act accordingly.
Relationships can be clutter as well, you want quality relationships, relationships that benefit you and the other party mutually... not relationships that only DRAIN you and suck you dry. Be careful of who you keep around you, 'cos you will pick up their habits and become like them. The company of like-minded individuals will help propel you to greatness.
Surround your space with things that inspire you, clear out your boxes holding memories of the past that you dun need... focus on the awesome future you will have. Put up words of inspiration around your room, surround yourself with positive energy and increase your capacity for awesomeness.
My life is currently cluttered, both physically and emotionally. My first steps will be to remove physical clutter from my living space... to enhance my opportunity to maximise productivity for awesomeness. To set up an environment where i can be continually inspired.

The Art of Non-Conformity
Today I chanced upon a website,
The Art of Non-conformity by Chris Guillebeau
My mind was BLOWN APART!!! absolutely BLOWN APART!
In the last few years, I have lived my life with a desire to be awesome, a desire to lead a life of awesomeness devoid of mediocrity. Then I read this website. I am greatly inspired. I am deeply moved.
There's really nothing much for me to say except that if you have any desire within you to be AWESOME... you HAVE to READ his manifesto: A Brief Guide to World Domination. It is life-changing, and inspiring to the very letter. It is currently the 4th of February 2010. I will produce a manifesto of my own within 2 weeks. I will then strive to live my life as closely to this manifesto of AWESOMENESS.
For years, I have put down lists of resolutions, and goals to achieve. One thing i have managed to overlook is that goals, without dreams are just like driving around without a final destination, or meeting targets that may not mean much to you. In work, we are expected to meet our Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and in a sense, that becomes our goal - to meet or even exceed those KPIs that have been set out for ourselves. But in all honestly, do these KPIs really matter to us? or are we just achieving them just 'cos we are expected to, and that it gives us a sense of achievement. Yes, it is always exciting and satisfying to achieve a goal, but without a dream, goals may not account for much.
Yes, it is better to have goals than to NOT have goals. But it is EVEN better to have a DREAM, and goals that lead you towards achieving that dream. Now, that is true AWESOMENESS: to dare to dream. However, dreams without action are meaningless too... and hence, we need to take ACTION: to set goals that bring us closer towards achieving this dream, and work hard towards attaining it. This then is destiny: when dreams and actions intersect.
Are you feeling AWESOME TODAY? do you wake up every morning excited about life, excited about the challenges and experiences each new day brings? If not, you are leading a mediocre life, a life of averages. Now, ask yourself: "Are you contented with that?" if you are, good on you, but if not... if you WANT to believe in awesomeness, and LIVE your AWESOME life, join me... and together let us set down this path of awesomeness together!

01 Feb 2010
It has already been one month into the new year and I have decided to once again take up my pen and start penning down my thoughts - so many things to think about, so many concepts, ideas, floating around my head... that perhaps to only writing them down would enable me to remember them...
Under great encouragement from a friend am i only reigniting my blogging.
2010 has ignited into a brilliant January, only for the flames to overwhelm and potentially die out... how true it is then... that "Love is like oxygen, it bursts into flames, and then suffocates you"...
I was absolutely correct... but what happens at the end of it, after all the oxygen is used up? is all that is left just charred ashes and broken dreams? or perhaps an opportunity to be like the phoenix, and reigniting the flame, burning the ashes into a constant perpepual flame, fueled by passion and hope.
Passion and hope.
"to look life as a painting is to wield the brush in brash strokes that defines reality"
To perpetuate change in the quest for awesomeness, one must dare to be different, to dare to brashly live their lives as if today was the last day of their lives, yet carefully plan as though they would live forever. Such is the only way to stay truthful to "carpe diem". To desire to live, to dare to dream, to believe in the unknown requires a certain mettle, a rejection of mediocrity, and a certain unwavering thirst for awesomeness, with a blatent persistant attitude focused on the goals ahead.
In a sense, all my experiences in the last few years, i have re-experienced in the first month of 2010. In an exhillarating start, i wonder whether 2010 will peter out into a decrepit of non-existantialism or will it reignite, catching on the winds of aspirations and desires ? That i cannot say. However one thing for certain, that being my father's son, i will persevere, and continue down the path of inspired awesomeness.
life... full of varied shades and colors, only for an accidental tipple to stain the masterpiece. You can't scrape off the stain, but instead you have to slowly, meticulously, patiently paint over it in order to replicate its original awesomeness. One cannot rush a work of art, but instead has to allow it to slowly reach the apex of perfection and attain immortality.
